: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands. Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove the transmission selector lever.

Remove the selector lever cable.   Remove the clip.   Release the cable.

.

Install the selector lever cable.   Clean the components.   Secure the cable.   Install the clip.

Install the transmission selector lever.
